Magical prints, dreamy fabrics and easy one size for all – stunningly simple & simply stunning.

Ruby and Raven is all about making good stuff happen. After breast cancer, creator Judi Barrkman headed to India in search of perspective. And that perspective just happened to come in the shape of a kaftan. From the joys of new discoveries to the joys of making the world a better place for a struggling Kerala family, India didn’t fail to deliver.

A strong bond was formed with Niyas, a local driver from Fort Cochin in Kerala. Smart and resourceful, he was desperately looking for ways to build a new home for his family. So these two decided to make good stuff happen.

And so began Ruby & Raven, a small business providing work on the Sunshine Coast and in Fort Cochin, Kerala. Every step of the way has been a joint collaboration, brimming with ideas and suggestions from all involved.

All this from an Aussie girl going through the toughest time of her life, and an Indian boy craving a better life.

Five years later; the business is strong, the house has been built, Judi is smiling and everyone is happy.

And add to the mix our first Australian Made creations to join the fun. Another step towards making good stuff happen.
